Cape May to Dewey Beach

After the hail storms, wind and rain on Sunday, I was pretty worried about the trip on Monday. We were supposed to cross the mouth of the Delaware Bay and the initial start was to leave Cape May Harbor on the east side which goes directly out into the ocean. I had no idea of how the ocean was gonna be after the winds and storm. But as it may be, we caught another window of opportunity and we only had 1' to 2' seas with occasional 3' rollers in the center of the Delaware Bay. This did seam to ease the tension and Dawn did pretty good for her first time in the Ocean on a little boat.
Thank you God again.
It only took 45 minutes to cross the Delaware Bay and then we had a trip through the Rehoboth / Lewes Canal. That took an hour and a half. So in 2 1/2 hours, we were in Rehoboth Bay Marina. A nice place as well. We were close to Dewey beach, only a few blocks and decided to go to the beach for a while. Later, we ended up finding an all you can eat buffet at the Rusty Rudder that was very very good. Ate like a pig and called it a night early. Now if I could just get off this here computer, I'd like to get it going cause we are now heading to Ocean City Maryland via the Indian River Inlet and out into the Ocean again.
So Bye..............
