Herrington Harbour, Beautiful Garden Areas, July 21, 2009

They have beautiful Garden Areas located around that are mostly used for weddings, etc.
They are self explanatory!

Herrington Harbour, Jason's Boat Ride, July 21, 2009

All I can say is this boat is fast.
It is a 40' Formula boat and it does 50 MPH, that's right, 50.
And that is about twice as fast as I go, 26 / 27 MPH.

He was havin some trouble and wanted to go for a test ride.
So, Vince and I wanted to oblidge him and went along to help trouble shoot it.

His wake.
Another view of his wake.
Darn it.........
Lindsey got in the way!

Herrington Harbour, Our Boats, July 21, 2009

A view of the point from the beach.
Don't forget to click on the pictures to get a larger view.
Most of us were located out on the point.
The "Dawn Rae".
We all know "Barb Z".
Joe and Colleen's Boat, "Nicole Rose".
And Andy's Boat, "Fuelish Pleasure".

Herrington Harbour, Pier and Beach Area, July 21, 2009

We had a bit of a work on the boat - part of the day.
And I made everybody stand here for this shot.............
A little get together on the pier.
We were havin mudslides......
Hmmmm, hmmm, good!
They have a very nice beach right on the Bay.

Where's my cabana boy?

And Dawn catchin the rays....

Herrington Harbour South Marina, Mango's Dinner, July 20, 2009

We left Port Annapolis and went to Herrington Harbour South. We lucked out and had good seas, 1 ft. waves, and sunny skys. Then it started to cloud up and it did rain a bit later. We did get to spend the afternoon at the pool and then left for dinner at a restaurant right here called "Mango's". Really good food again.
I must say, we do eat good on these trips!
The group.
The Greco's had some of their friends join us for dinner.

Yes, Frank and Pat finally made it, Yeah!!!!
We had the waitress anounce that there was only one special for the evening, done 3 different ways.
Fried Eel, Baked Eel, and Smoked Eel...............................
This was only a joke!
As the story goes, Frank got delayed for the first 3 days of the trip. He had an overheating problem on one of his engines. They did this and that, and everything else they could do and check and then finally, looked inside the oil cooler........... there was an eel stuck up in there.
Had to get a screwdriver and long nose plyers to get him out.
Runs fine now!
Frank is very appreciative of all the people that stuck with him and stayed to work on his boat to get him underway. He said Bob and Fred worked all day!
Way to go guys, and I Thank You as well.
My man..... "Frank", he was eating a dinner role. We were hungry.
Sorry Frank, I couldn't resist.
I am always taking the pictures so I'm rarely in them. So I ask Jason to grab this one of us.

Port Annapolis Marina + Deck, July 19, 2009

They have a really nice deck area that we were able to capture as "ours" for the evening.
We grilled out and had great food along with a relaxing time.
The Socha twin boys came out.

Barb brought a cake that was to die for.
And the Greco's.

Port Annapolis Marina + Our Boats, July 19, 2009

This is NOT from one of our boats, but can you guess what it is?
It is a crab pot - rope / line cutter.............
We saw it on the shaft of one of the big sail boats that was on land.
The thing is really sharp, and will deffinitely do a number on your fingers...... so I guess it will cut a crab pot line or two.

This is sail boat country so I guess it stands to reason we'd be put in a slip next to sailboats.

Most everybody else got put along the side of a long pier.

Port Annapolis Marina + Pool, July 18 / 19, 2009

Well, when we first got here at Port Annapolis Marina, it wasn't too long before we left and went into the town of Annapolis to do a Pub Crawl. That means doing a lot of bars and what not. I did manage to leave the group and take Nicole and Kevin to Ben and Jerry's to get my usual "ice cream" for the day. Mmmm, mmm, good. We also had various bits to eat along the way which kinda took care of dinner. But I forgot my camera for this part of the trip and therefore didn't get any pictures of the "good times" we had. There are plenty of stories to tell though.

Here are just a few pictures of the marina and pool area where we stayed.

Pool side.
Very nice pool.
